Quick question on due dates for credit cards

My barclaycard payment says its due on the 11th of October. I've just paid it.

Does that mean that its ok to pay it on the day or should I have paid it yesterday? Might seem like a silly question but just for my piece of mind. Thanks

Depends on how you have paid and where from.
A direct debit taken on the payment date would be credited the same day - wheras if you paid by debit card drawn on a different bank it might take 2 days for the funds to be applied to your card.

We need more info to advise further.

Sorry, I can answer my own question. From my debit card, from the same bank

"If you pay by debit card, you'll need to make your payment before 23:45 on the day your payment is due."

You could also use faster payments through your bank's internet banking.
