Hi all,
my current British Gas (elec & gas) 3-year fixed price contract is coming to and end this November, so I'm looking for a replacement.

a couple of questions:

1. What are "Pioneer Energy" like? I hadn't heard of them before. They seems to be the cheapest on the comparison. Too good to be true?
2. Also according to this post, Martin says that EDF is cheaper in London than Npower:
what YOU pay and who's your cheapest varies by use and region. So in London, EDF's long fix beats Npower, in northern Scotland it's the other way around. ALWAYS do a comparison - read on for how.
I live in London, but on my Cheap Energy Club calculator looking at the long fix contracts, it lists Npower as cheaper. Npower costs me £2217 and EDF is more expensive at £2269. Why the apparent contradiction???

Any help much appreciated!
