British Gas site: can't get in!

Is it a coincidence that prices are going up and I can't log in to my account. Tried to do a tariff check and it said I haven't been with them long enough (roughly 10years or so, maybe even more)!

    The site has been running slow today, although once in the tarriff check worked OK.
    That gum you like is coming back in style.

    Its very slow for me too. My tarrif runs out next month online variable Nov 2013 and will have to switch or stay on clear and simple.I guess folks are checking same especially as their may be price rises
