Hello
I have a Toshiba laptop. Model: Satellite C660D-1C6. Serial number: XB226670K. Unfortunately its out of its warranty.
Its always been incredibly slow but when I tried to type my username in this morning, it said:
'The User Profile service failed the login. User profile cannot be loaded.'
So I can't logon. I've been trying all day shutting it down, restarting, even taking the battery out a few times hoping it will reboot and correct itself but its still the same.
I've looked online for how to fix it but I don't understand what the instructions mean e.g one was telling me to get into 'safe mode' but I don't know how to do this! Besides that they all tell you to do different things and I'm finding it all very confusing...
Its only me who uses it, so its not like I can get in on someone else's username. I'm sure its something pretty straightforward that I can fix myself, I just need some help please to sort it out, would be much appreciated!
Many thanks, jo
