Didn't see the show, haven't read the articles so no idea about the cases being talked about. However:

"Bl00dy bible bashers at it again IMO... "

Very general comment aimed at people who read/believe? the Bible, completely unnecessary and discriminative.

"Exactly but what else can you expect from the zealots who kept the troubles here going for much longer than they should have because they wouldn't bend with the progress of time and agree to treat all citizens equally."

Which zealots are these exactly, those who support a pro-life agenda? Didn't realise that was a big factor that prolonged the troubles.

The thing is, there probably are children with severe disability in the community because of this stupid legislation and it's us who have to pay financially for these tragic mistakes.

I'm thinking you may want to rephrase that. I would hope you didn't actually mean it to read that way.

which I didn't expect from him because I know he's a churchy person too.

That's the most idiotic comment I've ever seen - do you SERIOUSLY believe everyone who attends a church believes exactly the same thing as the DUP?

P.S. Just to clarify - you'd probably consider me a churchy person as well, but in this type of case, common sense and humanity means it's entirely obvious that an abortion should have been allowed.

The Christian doctor, "I have known some of these babies live 10 hours!" Well that makes it al right then of course.

The baby had no skull as Sharon's mother said, so forceps and you will get mush.

I know of someone related to a uncle(he was not a blood relative), her baby died in the womb at 7 months. She had to carry to full term and deliver the dead baby! She was told we have to wait until you go into labour.

Yes I agree Glynn, some of your posts as of late leave a lot to be desired.

The very point of a democracy is that people are allowed to hold their own opinions - not everyone has to agree with you (and before you say it, I would vote yes).

The problem comes when it's a minority who make the laws for the majority. By all means protect the rights of the minority, but ensure the majority are also allowed their rights.

As someone else said on another thread - go for the ball, not the man.

My comments re David Ford are meant to convey that our politicians care more for what the Bible bashers think than what goes on in real life. I should have said you can be churchy without being a Bible basher.

    No offence intended.
