It's not unknown for PPCs to put photos in their evidence packs of signs from an entirely different site.

It says "Sign Type 1a" then has an image (not a photo) of the sign from the car park where all the details are the same but the fine is £90. Then the following photos are identical to this image, but where the fine cost is it looks like they've photoshopped a black box and £100 over where the amount of the fine is, it even cuts over some of the words from other lines.

Have you got the original untouched photo of the signs? If so, they are in real bother !!!0

No but I can go and check what it says tonight.
The thing is, the boxing with the £100 in is in a slightly different place on each of the 3 photos they've sent of the sign. To be honest, the more i'm looking at it, the more it looks like they may have doctored. Surely they wouldn't try that???0 -

Just get the original photos and if they have, then that is serious enough for the BPA, DVLA never mind POPLA.
I really hope they have been naughty and done what you think they have done. Tampering with evidence is a very serious offence.0 -

How do you mean "original photos"? - Which original photos are you referring to and how would I get them?0 -
By original, I meant the ones you take that are not touched up. Sorry, not too clear in previous post.0

OK... I've been and checked the signs and it seems they've put big black stickers over the £90 with £100 in white on, which is why the sticker is in different places on different signs and it looks a bit doctored in the photos.0

So the park has different amounts on different signs? Take photos to show that and use them in evidence. (as well as the std appeal points)0
