Changing supplier - and installing E7 at the same time.

Is this possible?
If not - and given the current environment with price rises looming - what's the best procedure?

Who do I request a meter change from - would informing my current provider I want to change to E7 - then requesting a switch work smoothly if the E7 meter was installed after the switch?

Any related thoughts?

(E7 turns out to be modestly cheaper for me)

Request it from your supplier. Or from your potential new supplier, as they may do you a meter change FOC in return for you signing up. Otherwise about £60. Don't attempt to do both at once.
PS: you are unlikely to benefit from E7 unless you have NSH's and/or an immersion heater (though there are exceptions).
