Need to tile the kitchen floor again, too may tincans dropped on a none to great ceramic tile. The colour doesn't work as is, so I'm trying to score a few brownie points whilst 'er indoors is away for a couple of weeks.
Anyone have a good local supplier in the derby/notts/sth yorks area.
Have marble effect porcelain in mind, just looking for an MSE approach, ie good quality at an even better price.

I got my tiles from East Midlands Ceramics. Not as expensive as you might think, negotiated a bit and got excellent service.
If you want to take home samples, you buy individual tiles and they refund in full if returned within 14 days.
CTD are also pretty good - they lend out samples free of charge.
Sorry, can't recommend any independents.0 -
All resolved yesterday at a bargain price, thanks Tile Town.
They are my local merchants if you exclude such as Topps etc.
Called in a week ago and saw 1 tile that fitted the bill, was looking as always for something similar but cheaper:money:as ever.
Called back when passing on Saturday just to take another look at the tile on my short list.. Not the same tile but a very similar porcelain jobby was both on show at £23/sq/mtr and there was a job lot of tiles under the show rack, came in the day before at £95.
The pile was 12.8sq mtr, my generous need inc waste was 13sq mtr:T:
Worked out at £7 something a mtr, bargain, and thanks Tile Town:TI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
