Just to add that I tried Jazz apples for the first time this morning, its an apple I could crave (believe me, I never thought I'd say that about an apple!).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I've never tried Jazz apples either. What are they like?
I managed to find some russets today at the farmer's market, so I'm a very happy bunny now.

Got a load of Jazz apples for £1 from my fruit stall. They are sweet and not at all sharp, and no trace of the red apply taste (which I personally dislike). Overall really tasty and worth giving a go.
I usually stick to Golden Delicious if that's any help, these are much tastier.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

They don't appear on their web site for me, but my local Tesco is selling bags of 6 russets for £1, normally £1.750

My mum said she got some in Asda the other day, although she noted that there weren't many bags left.0
