Churchill insurance and free karcher pressure washer

Hi, I took out car insurance with Churchill the day the promotion was advertised on MSE. I Have not cancelled with 14 days and the link did not say the 500 had run out. I have not heard a thing,when I call Churchill they say it's an MSE offer and they can do nothing about it. Has anybody else received their yet or had any communication about it?

I've heard nothing at all either.
All the insurers were around the same price, but the complimentary pressure washer sealed the deal for me. I'm feeling a bit let down, to be quite frank.0 -
Be patient.
You must run the policy until after 45 days before getting the next stage of the offer.0 -

I think 11 weeks (9/9 - 27/11) is patient enough. It's certainly more than 45 days.0

I suffered exactly the same fate. I took my policy out on September 20th and the offer was still live on MSE.
When I phoned Churchill I got the same "wait 45 days and you will get another e-mail" - Nothing.
I phoned Churchill Customer Service in early December and their agent promised to check it out and phone me back. I'm still waiting!
If people who took out insurance policies in early September didn't receive the washer there is little chance I will see anything.
In fact it seems highly unlikely that there were any of these available when I took out my policy in which case I feel as though I have been misled totally. Is there an 'Ombudsman' for such things?
Did anybody out there actually get one of the washers? If so when did you take out your policy?0 -
According to the T&Cs on the promotion's web page, Churchill's are providing the promotion so they can't wriggle out of responsibility that easily:

I'm sure I, like many others, had forgotten about as it was 6 months ago.
I will certainly be chasing it up this week, though, as the £5 extra for the insurance - but a free pressure washer - closed the deal for me.0 -
Spoke to someone at the marketing company and this is what I was told:

As this offer is now closed I can only refer you to Churchill for further information.[/FONT]0 -
I see MSE have "blagged" some more insurance freebies.
Still no pressure washer. I wonder if anyone ever receives these things.0
