i rang online banking but the guy just didn't get it.Once i go to work i am stuck if i need to get cash in

Don't spend more than you have in your account, simples!

Or pay the cash in after you make the transaction without waiting for it to debit your account first.

It is your problem, debits and card payments can theoretically go out anytime. If you are on such a tight budget you should know exactly how much you have in the bank and available, I know I do.

That is why I buy everything on my cash back credit card.

Just one payment a month and my money is earning vast amounts of interest sitting in my vantage account.

They go out the second you press "enter" after typing in your four digit PIN. Work by that rule all the time, and all your money problems will be over.

You mean all the OPs money has disappeared up his vacuum cleaner? That's good info, I'm sure he'll be excited to check that and get all of it back.

    It really isn't.

What you're being told is to keep your own record. You know your balance, you know what you spend. Keep track and you you don't need to worry about when transactions are debited.

Using a debit card is by and large no different to using a cash point, except for some situations such as petrol station pay at pump and some mobile pay systems. As soon as you agree to the purchase the cash is no long available from your account.

If you have trouble with keeping track withdraw cash instead, if the money isn't there you won't be able to have it.
