I think the biggest irony is that in the very first sentence she mentions how she was going to go anon for the post and then carries on. Never in the poor woman's dreams I'd imagine, it would go viral! Some times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.

My granddaughter is in year 3, age 7. Never been any problems with her at school, with lovely reports from all her teachers.
There is one girl in her class with 'challenging behaviour'. Other parents have had issues and gone into school to discuss them. My GD has mentioned incidents a few times but nothing major until now.
About a week ago GD told her mum that this girl had said to her that 'her dad was going to punch GD in the face'. We sort of brushed it off really thinking kids say all sorts of daft things.
This morning I did school run and one of the mums from GD's class came over and told me that she had been talking to this girls dad, and he had asked her to tell him which girl my GD was, because according to him my GD had scratched his daughter on the neck!
When this mum pointed my GD out in the school line he then said 'the little b**ch!
Obviously I was quite distressed by this and went home and rang her mum to tell her. She rang the school and spoke to the teacher and deputy head teacher. We fully expected that they would speak to this girls parents, but they have said they won't as its 'hearsay' as we did not hear him say these things ourselves.
I'd love to hear anyone's opinions on this. Should the school speak to them, or are we over reacting?
We don't want to end up with big confrontations in the playground, any thoughts will be very welcome.
You may want to start a new thread with that one...you've accidentally put it on a penis beaker related thread:rotfl:If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

I'm finding it hard to go into other threads on MSE now because I keep thinking I'm going to read the words "penis beaker" and when I don't I feel a bit disappointed!...:rotfl:Some times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.
