Hello,
i have a condensation issue in my house. the main part of the house has a 12 inch cavity which is insulated. We have a really annoying back porch area which was added on after and has been built with a single layer of bricks and no insulation although it has a small double glazed window and back door, hence my problem with condensation.
I have fitted an internal door to separate this area from the main part of the house which does help but only if the door is never opened which is not practical. i am not able to insulate the walls internally because of the tight space, i have also considered a fan or ventilation hole but i am not sure this will work as surely it will just make the area even colder causing more condensation
any ideas?

Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.
