Hi everyone,
We need a new printer for home with a little office work and would welcome any suggestions as to what to buy-what to avoid if possible?
Obviously print quality is very important but as always with printers, it's the cost of the ink later which makes a difference?
We are happy to pay a good price for the right printer and would welcome all your thoughts/suggestions?
Thank you in advance

HP Officejet 6700 is currently £99.95 from John Lewis - which is a good price.
Get compatible cartridges from 7dayshop.com
That's my suggestion.0 -
OK people don't jump down my throat just yet... ^_~ lol
Depends on how many pages a month you'll be printing take a look at https://instantink.hpconnected.com/uk/en
It's HP subscription Ink service
If you print 50 pages or less a month then it costs £1.99 a month (£24 year) for replacement cartridges.
The printer monitors the ink level and how many pages you've printed and automatically tells HP to send you out new cartridges when it's gets low.
It's only available with 2 of their printer models at present but might not hurt to look. ^_^Laters

I don't see why anyone would jump down your throat with this suggestion-I think it is an excellent idea and very viable.
Thank you for taking the time to show us this, it is appreciated.0 -
Mono or colour? if you don't need 4 col, then a mono laser will do the job very much more cheaply. Have a look at the Samsungs. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

lol! it's usually a general money saving rule never to buy ink direct from places like HP.Laters
