Polystrene rings, cones and hearts help!

I brought some of the following thinking i would use them for sweet wreaths and trees. But can't get them to work! What sweets would you use for them? Or is there something else i could use them for, they are quite small rings are 9cm diameter and the hearts approx 13cm
Does anyone have any ideas?
