Martin has recently posted a few times about the Kids club at B&Q. I thought it would be great for my youngest son so I joined, got my membership number and tried ringing the booking number to obtain my free place on the kids workshops. I have never been able to get through. I have tried a few times at various times (even early morning) and the only get a recorded message saying that they have high levels of calls. Each time I have stayed on the line for approx. 10 mins. I have also emailed twice to complain that I can't get through and would like to book my child in for a course and have not received a reply. I was at my wits end and even phoned up the local store who advised me that they couldn't book me in and I would either have to book online or phone the booking line. There was nothing they could do.

The problem with booking online is that there is no facility to put in your membership number to enable you to obtain a free class, which means that you have to pay via credit/debit card. Are B&Q scamming us, trying to get customers to stay on hold until they get their £5 worth of phonecalls?

Anyone else had the same problem in booking a workshop via the telephone??

Very frustrated
