Hi Experts,
I have received a final reminder for non payment of a PCN from ce-service.co.uk advising I have not paid the original charge (which I have never received) and that I must pay the £150 within 14 days failure could affect ability to obtain credit etc.
I have no idea at or where the alleged offence may have been committed, my partner uses the car and has no knowledge of parking in any restricted area on the alleged offence day in August just the normal work trip and not subject to parking restrictions.
I have seen mixed reports advising to ignore and not initiate contact together with advice suggesting appeal and engaging the landowner!
What should I do next? Appeal? or just ignore, the clock is ticking and I am out of the country on business for the next few weeks
Thanks for you most appreciated support and promise a further donation to BHF particularly close to my heart after bypass surgery at 40 a couple of years ago. I would happily donate the parking fine to a WORTHY cause and not some unethical fleabags!

You need to go back to them and tell them you've previously received nothing; ask them for details of the parking incident to which their claim relates. Do this in writing - do not telephone them.
This is Civil Enforcement Ltd who have become quite litigious of late, so ignoring this will probably give you more hassle in the near term.
Get back once you have any response. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
