Halifax CC online offer abandoned

Yesterday, I was looking to Balance Transfer of £2100 from my current Barclaycard Credit Card over to Halifax with their smashing offer of 0% on balances and purchases for 15 months at a paltry 0.8% fee. I've a pretty decent credit rating, so I pushed on with the online application. I got to the stage where they were approving me (I think) and was offered a credit limit of £1200. I then pressed cancel to proceed fully as this isn't enough for the full balance. I realise now that I probably ought to have proceeded with the application and moved some of my balance over to it as it would still have worked out cheaper.

My question is this: When I pressed cancel, it asked if I was sure and that this would mean that I couldn't reapply for 30 days. Considering I didn't fully accept the card, will I have been credit-scored? Will this impact me reapplying for this or another card? Have I jiggered myself just by cancelling half way through an application?

Yes, they will have done a credit search by that point - you should have completed the application and taken as much as possible at 0%!
