I've recently cancelled a claim for a freind with this 'no win, no fee' company and I'm going to proceed with the claim myself.
They've asked for a cancellation fee of 150 quid plus VAT=176.25 and have asked for 5 days for it to be repaid, they will then add intrest on the fee thereafter.
She cannot remember signing anything, and they have not sent her a copy of anything.
Has anybody had dealings with this company?
Does the fee have to be paid, within 5 days?
If so, can anybody suggest some stalling tactics, she is broke at the moment
Thanks everyone
Terry
