Car reversed out of drive saga

Some of you may remember me posting about a car reversing out of the drive into me while i was stationary

and he is trying to settle for 50-50

Well i have no found out he has got a new car!!! He has got rid of the other one that he reversed into me with

so how does this work, if he is trying to claim for repairs on his car ( i took a picture of the bumper which he is claiming needed £300 worth of repairs on ) and it had one tiny tiny scratch mark

what do I do now, as i'm still refusing to accept 50-50

Tell your insurance company and let them sort it, logically he would not have a claim but insurance companies don't seem to use logic.

Never mind about the nonsense of the original claim, but why would the material loss, lower trade-in or sale value, change when he changed cars? From your original post he appears to be a chancer, but just because the cars away doesn't make the claim disappear.

Whether he has a new car or not is irrelevant. He obviously isn't going to hang around waiting for liability to be agreed (even if it is obviously his fault).
