Very customer service

Options
I ordered 2 single beds from very 9 weeks ago, when I ordered them they were expecting stock & would be delivered by 1st November 2013,

On Friday 4th I checked the status of the order & still said the same so on Sunday I dismantled the bunk beds in my boys bedroom to make it easier to decorate there room ready for new beds etc.. Today I checked again & The order is telling me that they are no longer available & the order has been cancelled, I phoned Very & they told me they were not guaranteed there was nothing in the small print & they are still advertising the fact that they will be available in 4 weeks time! I emailed them & got a generic email saying sorry, no explanation, no offer of an alternative, I am absolutely livid! Where do I stand can anyone give me some advice?

Not sure you stand anywhere to be honest, except that you need to go and get some beds elsewhere. From reading some other threads on here about Very you may have had a lucky escape.

Not much to be honest, other than vote with your feet.
2.2 When you submit an order to us on our website you will receive a 'bounce back' confirmatory email of this order saying that we are processing your order. You will then receive a second email from us acknowledging your order and giving you estimated timescales for delivery. You should check both emails for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. Neither of these emails constitute acceptance of the order by us. Your order will be accepted by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we despatch the goods to you. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery.
