    What age are your children?

Kalamaki is the next town over from Laganas but is more family orientated. It still has plenty of restaurants and bars and is only a 5 min taxi ride into Laganas if you fancied it.

There are other lovely parts of Zante as well such as Tsilivi and Argassi.

If it's the only island you haven't seen...Don't do Laganas.
I'm a Greek lover. Honeymooned in Tsilivi. Lovely beach! we spent most of our time snorkelling, relaxing and eating :P
Went to Laganas once. Made me think of a Greek Margate.

Argassi (on Zante) is also lovely. Went there last year for two weeks and loved it. First time in Greece and would love to go again.
Hotel was kamara Beach hotel and was literally right on the beach. Would recommend it to anyone.
  • the girls will be 7 and 4, i have managed to let the school authorise a holiday as i work for the nhs and the 6 weeks hols are already fully booked at work no chance of my having the time off.

we ideally wanted an all inclusive hotel as we find it easier with the girls, can you recommend any other hotels all inclusive?

a few people have mentioned a lot of Russians go to zante, have any of you experienced this?

    thanks
  • I went to Zante in 2009 with 6 mates.

As you mentioned, Laganas will be heaving with young clubbers in June, so I'd steer clear of there, however the surrounding area are also nice so may be more suitable for a family holiday.
