  • Hi Gang!!

Thanks for starting us DNMS!! Hope everyone is well today!

    Here's today's little listy:-

:) Working 8-4 on one of our rather pointless "spare days" - so far washed car, submitted OT, checked banking, rung BT to cancel contract early due to price hikes, rung Dad on work phone, face-timed brother to catch up!!

:) Adpoints, Swagbucks and enter a few comps on work computer

    :) Charge phone at work

:) Get new batteries from work stores for torch

    :) Read book

:) Clean house with minimal products

:) 30 Day Shred workout DVD

    :) B/L/D from stores

:) Rugby Training with the girls tonight... Time for a good catch-up and hard exercise

:) Dinner up the club. They do free food when you buy any drink - 30p cordial each and free dinner!! Chilli con carne, jacket spud and cheese this week!

:) Early night - share bath after training and snuggle up so heating can stay off!!

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for starting us off DNMS.
SFTM - Doh, I completely forgot about the recipe last night & DH is out at a gig tonight...tomorrow it shall be!!

    Today's plan:-
    • Making use of free water & pizza at work
    • Food from stores
    • Dinner from meal plan - Macaroni cheese, mmm (only get this when I'm cooking for myself, not DH!)
    • Staying in for my lunch break to avoid spending
    • Charge phone at work
    • Log calories & exercise on free apps
    • Checked birthday bingo
    • Check online banking
    • Check for new mystery shopping opportunities
    • Enter some comps
    • Do some surveys
    • Declutter & flylady
    • DH did 30mins overtime today, but he's on a half day anyway as he's off to a gig in London. I have reminded him to take his network railcard which he says is in his wallet, & he's being a good boy & making lunch at home before heading out, not sure what he'll do about dinner though...something cheap I hope.
    • Heating off, fleecey dressing gowns on instead
    • Put a couple of things on freecycle, maybe someone else can get use of them & there's no point in me trying to sell them as I won't make enough to cover the time spent in cleaning them up - didn't do this last night
    • Finish meal plan for the week & check how much it'll cost using mysupermarket & which coupons I can use
    • Go to Sainsbugs straight after work & do a quick shop & get petrol before my fitness class afterwards, if I can squeeze it in then it's the best use of my time! Will use prepaid card (5% discount) & take own bags.
    • Go to prepaid pole class afterwards, this way I don't go home to get changed only to come back to town again, & then go to Sainsbugs afterwards taking up most of the evening!
    • Look at my options for the future & somehow get through the day again
Hope you're all ok & have a great MSE day x

    * look at where we can get Euros from

Hello - I got best rate through travelex - book online and pick up at airport. Saved £5 compared to post office's rate on £400 and got another £2odds back booking via quidco.
  • A man has been to take photos of the toilet. Looks like I won't be back in work today. No water at all and dying for a cuppa :(

Hugs to all those with anxiety probs. I'm not too hot myself at the moment. Came down terrible yesterday (foreboding about toilet explosion?!).

Perhaps it's because we lose the light so quickly in October and it becomes obvious that the nights are drawing in?

I think you might be onto something carrielovesfanta...

The yoga teacher in me (I fully qualified at the weekend :j) is saying that everyone should try tratak meditation - it definitely helps with that. This website is a pretty good intro http://www.eternity-yoga.com/tratak.html

    Moneysaving things for me today:

Ate out of date yoghurt for breakfast (only one day)
Ate out of date soup for lunch (one day again)

    Better than throwing away.

Making beef curry for tea with leftovers from Sunday lunch.
Going to do a trip to vet and town combined to save petrol (although judging by the time this may have to wait till tomorrow now).
Spend less now, work less later.
