Fixed Tariff=no rises in standing charges?

am I right in thinking if you take out a fixed deal, standing charges are also included in the price freeze? so they cant rise along with your unit prices during ur fixed term, or have I got that wrong?

One should always read the terms and conditions, just to be safe. But yes, in every tariff I've come across, both Unit Rate and Standing Charge is fixed.
Even the toothless OFGEM would crack down on a fixed tariff with variable standing charge?0 -
thanks, makes no mention of it as far as I could see on the npower 2017 deal,
just thought id double check0
