Digital Shower

Hi,

Was looking to get the Mira Platinum Dual Wireless Digital Shower, ceiling fed high pressure version. Purely becasue it saves me having to build a false wall and my boiler is in the loft anyway.

Has anyone got one or installed one of these? If so, is it reliable and worth the money?

Was thinking of buying from plumb nation as they appear to be cheapest. Any opinion on them too?

Can't speak for the shower but i ordered a couple of things with plumnation last tuesday. They emailed me at 4.50 on thursday to tell me that 1 item was gonna be delivered on the friday and their office closed at 5. I phoned first thing friday and they sorted it so both items are delivered tomorrow. So far so good from them but we'll see how the delivery is tomorrow.

We fit a few of these and are good value for money, work well too

Doble bathrooms are the cheapest!! As these are seen as a showroom item you cant buy from trade plumbing outlets

Fitted several - not had a problem to date - plus Mira have a very good engineer service (so I'm told!) if the worst happens in the first 5 years!

One was even installed as a shower and automatic bath filler... well impressed.

Don't agree with Andy's comment bout not being able to buy from trade outlets tho. That's where I source all mine from.

Tried Doble along with numerous other items, were cheaper by a tenner than Plumb nation but Doble charge for delivery :-(

How much discount do tades people get off of RRP? Might become a trader if its worth while.

35% is trade discount on mira, PTS, Plumb centre all wanted over 550 for a pumped ceiling fed platinum. The mira vies can be had for around £400 as these are a trade/ retail item and not exclusive to showrooms
