Stuck Allen Bolt

Hi
I was putting a bed together over the weekend - cheap thing for the spare room.
One of the allen bolts only went half way in, probably because of an issue somewhere else !! I really dont want to tear the whole this apart. I tried to take the allen bolt out but as I hankering at it for a ages the 'insides' of the bolt cannot be gripped anymore.
Any tips of of how I could either get it out or get the bolt in....I am tempted just to hammer the thing in !!!
Thanks

One has to ask whythe 'insides' of the bolt cannot be gripped anymore- Cheap allen key supplied with bed, worn away - use proper allen key
- Allen key used was too small - use correct size allen key
- imperial allen key used instead of metric or vice versa. - use correct type of key
- Correct size allen key used and allen key intact - if screw protrudes enough to use pliers, consider cutting slot and using large screwdriver.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
or drill it out.
