selling post office shares?

I've never bought or sold shares BUT have applied for post office shares.
My intention is to sell them pretty quickly and am wondering how to do that?
I will not have a share certificate but I'm guessing I will have a way to electronically confirm my allocation?
All advice gratefully received...

ROFL!
For the OP:
How did you buy the shares? Was it through the Royal Mail website?0 -
Equiniti are dealing for the gov I think, so you will pay them. I expect its a fairly normal fee of 15 or so, they'll have to agreed to behave themselves to get the business put their way. They'll email and probably post you (hopefully we still do this)details of how to contact them, etc0

IF you are using the Royal Mail Nominee service:If you chose to keep your shares in the Royal Mail Nominee Share Service, the current standard dealing charges are 1% of the value of the transaction, subject to a minimum charge of £17.50 (if dealing online) or £25 (if dealing by telephone). These charges may change in the future. There will also be temporary telephone and postal dealing services that will allow you to sell your shares, for which the charge will be 0.75% of the value of the transaction, subject to a minimum charge of £7.50. Full details of these services will be sent to successful applicants after the Offer.
