Energy Switch Cashback

Hello all!

Ashamed to admit I'm a first time switcher! Talk about a Jonny come lately! Planning to take the plunge now & change tariff to EDF Blue + Price Promise (despite poor customer service reviews... Yikes! Fingers crossed!) but am confused about how to get the £30 cashback when switching via Cheap Energy Club. Spoke to someone at Money Supermarket who assured me I would get it if I just followed the online links to them from CEC. But the link from CEC takes me directly to EDF with a message saying they are unable to help switch to this supplier. Does this mean that the cashback isn't available whichever route you take? Appreciate any experience/advice/help anyone can offer.
Thanks!
