Hi Guys , just done a boot scan on my laptop, which I do once a week, and found 7 ERRORS all 42139, but in the logs shows no virus found?
They are all
C;Windows\Temp\C381tmp\>Chrome-Bin\29.0.1547.76
then all slightly different until
42139( 7zip archive is corrupted)
Is there anything to worry about?
MBAM shows all clear.
Spybot shows all clear

    Hi earthstorm, I did check it prior to posting, possible SIGGEN Trojan.BUT, wondered if it was a false positive with mbam and spybot not detecting it.
    .
    OR has Avast removed it, but, why say no virus found:?
    I know a Trojan isn,t a Virus, Malware more likely, so Mbam should pick it up;
    Dubious of the FIX on the link.unless someone on here says it,s ok to use;;Any advice getting ridwould be appreciated.

    It isn't a trojan or any other malware.

    Avast can't open the archive to scan the contents inside "7zip archive is corrupted". Hence it reports an error - not an infection.

    It looks google chrome related & is a temp file. Clean your temp file directory using your usual method (Ccleaner etc...)

    Hi waddler, thanks for reply.
    I didn,t do anything about it until I was 100% sure, so ran eset online scanner last night, 5 hours, ( record) and it detected 4 infected files , Spybot of all places, with Bagle.
    It cleaned 2.
    Think they may be old archived ones?
    Just ran Avast boot scan again, and 7 zip files still corrupted, BUT, at the end, NO files infected, so was dubious as to it being a Trojan.;Infected and Corrupted was confusing me;;
    Thanks for the peace of mind, much appreciated.:beer:

    Yes, ESET is most likely detecting things Spybot has previously quarantined.

    That,s what I guessed as a I told it to scan archives.;;;probably shouldn,t have.
    All clear now, CCleaner cleared all the errors.
    I don,t usually watch the scan,Too long, but was at screen at the end, where errors were noted;before boot;
    Thought if they were infected files, would have stated, in log ,or fixed them.Cheers
