Is this a 95% shared ownership application?

I'm trying to find it on Mortgage Brain, the souring system.

    So, it's 95% and newbuild, or second-hand?

    You wont KS.

It's an exclusive to Connells. It has been through PMS L&G and other clubs but is with Connells only currently.

I suspect the underwriting is extra tight and a BTL in the background could kill it. (The broker from Sequence may have jumped on Halifax because she knows the LBS deal is unlikely to get a yes)

Ok, My point in your other thread is the way forward for sure. Put your Wife on the application, see what they will genuinely lend you on a totally transparent application and then find a property that matches this figure.

Deano's wife is in a new job and LBS wont release funds until she is out of a probationary period.

[also, did you not move your C Card debt to your wife Deano?]

Agreed, but I mean key Wife as £0 income (as appreciate they will not include) and see what they will lend on a completely transparent basis.

Well i have to say i am very disapointed with the Sequence Broker, still not clear if i can submit my application as she isnt sure if Leeds will allow a second property on a 95. Other mistakes in the proposed application she emailed, inluding wifes salary taken into account for affordability when she wasnt even to be incuded. Lost all confidence in her and really just thinking about saving even harder (if possible) and getting to the 90% LTV bracket, thus much more choice. Infact ive done the maths and as we arent looking for a large mortgage with this property, will be able to get to 90 quicker than expected. Short of said broker calling me back with good news i think thats what im going to do, infact that would be my only option in any event.

oh well, thanks all for your help.
