Vehicle Control Services Ltd / Humberside Airport

I work offshore and regularly use the above airport. My normal mode of operation is my lift waits away from the airport, when I walk outside to the bus stop I call her, she drives in, pulls into the layby bus stop, I throw my bags in the car an we drive off. I have done this every 3 to 4 weeks for the last year, there has never been a bus there at all.
The last time I was picked up a parking control van was parked in the hatched area on a roundabout, I didn't think much of it. The usual pickup occurred and then the parking ticket arrived. The photograph shows the vehicle stopping, the next one shows me chucking my bags in the boot, driver still in the car. The times on the photographs show 8 seconds, if we were there 12 seconds that would be the maximum. They now want £80, escalated to £120 after 14 days.
In the past I have ignored totally such 'fines' McDonalds and Tesco etc, I know the law changed last year, and advice please? Do I pay? Do I ignore? Whats the likely outcomes from POPLA or whatever it's called?
Thanks in advance - John

I should also add, they keep talking about notices placed at the entrance to the car park, we weren't in a car park AND they've spelt the name wrong, the last 2 letters of the surname are missing.0
