Sure....come back here when you actually get court documents and worry about it then. In the meantime sit back, relax and wait.

MET don't generally do court, they just send debt collector letters. Everyone gets them, so ignore those letters. A debt collector can't instigate a court claim at all.

Only take seriously a 'Letter before Claim' or actual small claims papers (not from the debt collector). A Letter Before Claim would come from MET or from a solicitor firm.

Next time you get as fake PCN please read up on appealing it and winning at POPLA (too late for this one). That's the current advice in England/Wales only.

Which debt collector? Debt Recovery Plus and Zenith letters? Like in this thread:

Laugh at them. Just keep checking the letters and all the time it's a debt collector, ignore them.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Huh ? Sorry you said this was MET parking, now you appear to be talking about a Penalty Charge Notice, please keep your thread to topic, if you wish to discuss another ticket please create a new thread about it. Thanks
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Its always best to keep any letter which threatens any sort of action, even if you believe it to be an empty threat.

I think the OP is making a second request in relation to a separate set of circumstances. Let's find out.

If you are now asking different questions in relation to an entirely separate issue then you should start a new thread otherwise two sets of advice will become confused.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
