    How about contacting the promotion company (or whoever organised the fight) and ask them for a refund.
    If the tickets are legitimate, then you should be getting a refund from them, not from the eBay seller.

    You're wasting your time chasing the wrong person.
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

    Probably because when selling tickets they are sold as non-transferrable and the refund will only be made to the person they were originally sold to. Plus the buyer has paid a considerable premium to the tout to obtain these tickets and so will lose out a substantial sum in any event.
    "Business" or not, when buying from a tout, which is what this person is you are taking a substantial risk and if things do go wrong then the only person who takes the hit is the buyer...
