How about contacting the promotion company (or whoever organised the fight) and ask them for a refund.
If the tickets are legitimate, then you should be getting a refund from them, not from the eBay seller.

You're wasting your time chasing the wrong person.
Probably because when selling tickets they are sold as non-transferrable and the refund will only be made to the person they were originally sold to. Plus the buyer has paid a considerable premium to the tout to obtain these tickets and so will lose out a substantial sum in any event.
"Business" or not, when buying from a tout, which is what this person is you are taking a substantial risk and if things do go wrong then the only person who takes the hit is the buyer...0
