Is the PGCE a seperate pot of money?

Options
I have just started a 4 year degree programme (1 year in industry) and wish to do a masters (self funded unless I can get a scholarship) and then a PGCE (or the other way round)

I am not sure whether the PGCE is taken under the SFE length of course +1 upto 5 years of funding. Or whether it is a seperate 'pot'

Thanks :)

Funding for a PGCE is separate from funding for a first degree.

PGCEs are exceptions to the previous study rules. As long as you don't already hold QTS/QTLS you should get full student finance.

Maybe you should learn to spell before you decide to teach?

    Just a thought :)

GH, do look at the different meanings of whether and weather.

Surprised I have spelt it wrong twice in the same post! It's the dyslexia. I've spelt it how it sounds to me when my northern boyfriend says it.

Daft woman. I always struggle to spell definitely (is that even right?) as well. I just cannot get a handle on that word no matter how many times I look at it or sound it out.

Oh well best jack it all in and go back onto IS :rotfl:
