This is an internal box, NOT external. It is where the external dropwire changes to internal. There is no waterproofing, and the terminals would rust quickly. Indeed, the picture is of a generic block (no BT logo) and would be easily spotted as a DIY conversion.
If you are referring to the one I posted, then yes I know it's for internal use and exactly what it is for. I assumed (wrongly it would seem) that the OP was wanting to replace the existing box on the inside with another one.
You are right about the lack of logo though. This one would probably be better.
As I said before though, if the OP does remove the existing junction box, regardless of what he does on the outside, he is still going to need a new joint on the inside.0
