Handbag broken, but no receipt

I bought a gigi handbag from TK Maxx on the 13th September and the catch has broken. It can't be fixed so the bag is now useless. Unfortunately I don't have the receipt, although I did but it on my credit card so I can see the transaction. Is this enough for them to refund me, or give me a credit note?

A credit card statement is a good proof of purchase.
So to answer your question... yes, although you may have to accept a replacement or even a repair.0 -

Was the catch broken at the time of purchase? If so, and the item had a sticker noting that, then you wouldn't have a claim. If you have broken it since, then you also may not have a claim.
What happened to the catch to break it?Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
