Cat-proof damp traps?

I have been using standard moisture traps around my patio doors during the winter. This type:

However, I now have cats and need something safe for them. I have a big dehumidifier running, but moisture still collects around the patio doors. I just need something small in that area.
Any recommendations? Has to be knock-proof and non-toxic.

Just carry on using them, I can't see the cat being interested.0

Do these things actually work??0

yup, I've been buying cheapo £1 ones from ASDA and it's really odd the amount of moisture they suck up0

I agree that they do work. I use them in my built in wardrobe which is on an outside wall. Stick a few in the corners of rooms with outside walls and they do fill up.0

They are great for odd corners, so really do need advice on cat-proof ones. My cats are inquisitive and like to sit behind the curtains. They WILL investigate.0

Hi all, can you get replacement crystals for them. Just what I need for behind the loo as the cistern tends to drip from condensation in winter months0

Might get a couple for my single glazed windows maybe save a bit on running the dehumidifier through winter!0

Looks interesting, nickj, but don't think my landlord would pick up the bill.0
