Anyone know anything about CSL?

Hi there -

For the last couple of months I've had weird messages left on my phone from something called CSL. They keep asking for a completely different person I've never heard of, and quote a ref no. and a London tel no. I've called a couple of times in the hope of telling them they've the wrong number/person, and to please stop calling, but they seem to be permanently closed.

It occurred to me this may be some kind of scam so I won't contact them at all now. I just wondered if any of you lovely MSE folks have had similar experiences, and how you dealt with them? Is it worth my getting the calls blocked by BT?

All feedback appreciated - thank you!

Could be Credit Solutions Ltd. they're a debt collection agency and collect on behalf of O2, amongst others.

If you can't get hold of them by phone, I would write to them asking them to stop calling you. Give the reference number they provide and your telephone number, and explain that whoever they're after doesn't live there.
    What will your verse be?

  • Thanks, Matttye - problem now sorted.
