Plug in cool box / mini fridge

Not sure where to put this, so please move to a more suitable place ;
I need to have a fridge in my hotel room where i'm staying for a few days, which would be better a plug in cool box or mini fridge ? I know you can run them off your car, but can you buy adaptors to run them in your hotel room ?
