Chocolate for breakfast!

Me in a nutshell...

Help! I'm in a nutshell!! How did I get in this nutshell? ... What sort of a nut has such a big shell??... HELP!

Second diary, and not because my last one was full but because I took a break and got slightly lost. New go, new diary! And yes its a dirty little secret diary.

Won't bore anyone with how I got here, just a combination of being a stupid spender and a lot to do with an ex husband!

I also won't bore you with a bio... I'm sure as I go along snippets of my existence will be revieled.

Put on a stone... so also starting a gym, which I know contradicts trying to save money but I got student discount plus I'm a whale so needs must!

I'll be totally honest through my journey so let's start with this... while writing this I have ate a whispa for my breakfast.

  • Good luck Sammy Jo, I'm trying to shift a stone too, by the way did you know that calories in chocolate don't count if

    a) you're standing up when you eat it or
    b) nobody sees you eat it

I'm also pretty sure I read somewhere that broken biscuits don't have calories either, however the above could possibly be incorrect which may explain why my diets never seem to work. ;)

Hmmm I've just noticed that both debt and diet are four letter words ...

    All the best

    Bet x
Worrying won't stop bad stuff from happening, it just stops you from enjoying the good.
  • Thank you all for your encouragement!

Agh, that's where I've been going wrong... I ate my wispa in full view of my mothers dog who was patiently waiting for any crumbs to fall (silly girl, as if chocolate could miss my mouth!) and I was sloughed on the couch so a lot more horizontal than standing up. I will ensure to smash it to pieces next time n lick all the crumbs out of the packet while standing in the garden shed away from prying eyes! I'm gonna be skinny in no time!

Car passed her MOT this evening :) so delighted I tried to go to new look to celebrate by returning a bag I was bought and exchanging it for something nicer!! They were closed....

I got a strawberry milkshake from McDs instead (nobody saw me drink it)

I also started my hairdressing college today which I do on my days off. (Been in admin all my life, and last month quit my job as a manager to become a trainee hairdresser!!) it was awful! At 27 I am 11 years older than all the other students. I didn't get doing any practical as my partner took 2 hours doing a wash and blow dry on me. My scalp is burnt n red raw, she brushed my face on more than one occasion and I still have half a bottle of conditioner sleeked in my hair. We then spent 2.5 hours on theory, in which time I took 5 mins to do a health and safety test (received 100%) and the tutor spent the rest if the time trying to help all the kids understand the bloody questions. To keep me entertained she gave me a text book from the 80s. As I'm going privately each class costs me 30 quid. What a waste of money!! Really torn as there is no other institutes enrolling privately.

It's important to know that if you eat chocolate belonging to someone else that is calorie free. Naturally, the other person has offered you the chocolate, I, personally, wouldn't dream of snaffling an abandoned piece of chocolate

....and a happy new diary to you!:T
