Do You Shop Online With Ocado?

So far, so good
I received a code for £5 off a £40 spend and by using mysupermarket, I am not paying over the odds for my shopping.

How much do you pay for a tin of chopped tomatoes through Ocado?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

About the flash sales.
They are different for everyone.
I got my son to sign up a while back with his home address.
The flash sales offered to him were completely different to those offered to me.0 -

I'm not using OCADO as my main grocery provider, I'm a supermarket tart - I go to whoever gives me the best deal :rotfl:
If prices are on special, I will put an order in, if they're not, I won't

We use them a lot these days. They did used to send money off voucher codes via email for existing customers every few weeks but now they only send them once every 3-4 months, if that. We never get nappies and wipes from there as they can be got cheaper elsewhere (Sainsbury's basics) but otherwise we get pretty much everything from there when we do a shop. Their organic fruit and veg box is excellent but apparently the quality of it depends on your area, judging by the reviews others haven't had great ones. We are a family of 7 and struggle to finish all the fruit and veg in the box. The vegan/vegetarian product range is far more varied than other supermarkets and ocado do their own brand products now which are generally very good and in most cases not much more expensive than the value ranges in other supermarkets, there are some exceptions though such as their pitta breads which are £1 a pack. The drivers most are friendly and helpful but you get the odd one who is the complete opposite. Last week's driver was really grumpy and wanted to dump the majority of the shopping in the lobby downstairs (we live in a 3rd floor flat) which defeats the object of getting shopping delivered in the first place. Have also heard of some drivers dumping the shopping on the drive of people who live in houses and then running off quickly. It seems they have new targets and quotas to meet now and as such customer service suffers. Xx0

Can't fault Ocado - prices are keen (and as previous posters have mentioned, they have Tesco Pricce Check), I seldom have any substitutions (and if they do substitute they will honour the price of what was originally ordered, even if it's a special offer), deliveries are always on time and their drivers are helpful and friendly. On the rare occasions that something is omitted or damaged refunds have been made in full and without delay.
My Ocado Delivery Pass is about £5 a month for Tue, Wed or Thu deliveries and is money very well spent - saves me hours of the supermarket trolley pushing horror and lots of petrol, too.0 -
I just got an email from Ocado this week with a 3 month free smart pass (free delivery), I have used Ocado before but not for ages so am going to give them another go. Tips on here are very useful - I didn't know about the sale items. Thank you0

I get an annual saving pass and as I order regularly, it works out that I save more on delivery than the pass costs, over a year.
The drivers are always on time, even in snow. A couple of times they have called and asked if they can deliver early and if I'm at home I say yes. I've not had a grumpy one yet, certainly no-one dumping bags. I reckon I've had two subs in over a year.
Ocado will take all bags for recycling including those from other supermarkets.
I have a list but also look at Offers, Clearance and New sections. I aim to save at least £10-£15 per order. I try to avoid flash sales because they are designed to tempt you !
I love the shops within shop eg Daylesford and Brindisa and also the International foods section which includes French, South African and American.
The Ocado organic veg boxes are great value for money and the quality I've had has been better than either Abel & Cole or Riverford.
I lurve Ocado but if you can easily be tempted to spend more than you should then it's probably not the best place to shop.0 -
i shop with sainsburys and was looking for a different company as im sick & tired of the whole delivery never making it here, they are ALWAYS out of stock of something, but If I was to go in there I Alaways get what I wanted!!!0
