Short term benefit advance not paid

Hi,
Yesterday morning I applied for a short term benefit advance as I have done a rapid reclaim and won't have any money until my next sign on day which is the 18th.
So around 11 yesterday I applied over the phone and got a phone call back about an hour or so later granting the advance. I was told they would get the money to me the same day. I waited till around 4PM checking every hour or so to see if the money went in, at 4 I rang back and another woman on the phone said it would probably go into my account at midnight and be in today.
I have checked a few times throughout today and my money still hasn't gone in, as it is the weekend I can't ring the jobcentre back and follow up on what is going on.
Just wondering if anyone has had one of these advances in the past and how long it took to get the money into their account?
Thanks.

I haven't had one as I don't claim JSA but I wonder if they actioned it as a normal three day payment in error? Hope you can manage over the weekend

Yeah that's exactly what I'm worrying about (3 day payment), if that's the case I won't receive it until Wednesday. I'm actually NFA but staying with my girlfriend over the weekend.0 -
If it's not there on Monday morning you will have to phone again and ask for another callback from your benefit centre.
It should be in your account within 3 - 5 hours if it's not, then they most likely did not do it for some reason.0 -

\you should get in touch with them on Monday anyway just to make sure its gone, if you can't manage until Wednesday and you were promised a same day payment then speak to a supervisor and get them to sort it."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -

No she works part time but has too much money in savings to be eligible for benefits.sammyjammy wrote: »\you should get in touch with them on Monday anyway just to make sure its gone, if you can't manage until Wednesday and you were promised a same day payment then speak to a supervisor and get them to sort it.
Yeah that's the only plan I can come up with, I checked again this morning hoping it would be in but it wasn't so they must have issued it as a normal payment. Yeah I plan on speaking to a supervisor straight away.
Friday the first adviser said a few hours when i rang back they said it would go in at midnight.0
