I have a micro hifi in my living room and thought it might be possible to buy a wire and connect my iPhone to it to play my music from my phone?0 -
Does your stereo have a standard 3.5mm audio jack? I'd imagine it does.
In other words, would one these fit into it?
If so, buy a double ended one, and connect one side to your phone and the other side to your stereo/speakers.
Edit: although it would depend whether your stereo accepts inputs. What will your verse be?

Still not enough info what make and model of hifi and does it have any inputs on it eg Phono or DIN sockets there is usually an AUX setting on the selector, if not then you could use a RF transmitter that you could use to listen on a radio channel.I have a micro hifi in my living room and thought it might be possible to buy a wire and connect my iPhone to it to play my music from my phone?4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Your hick would require an AUX input. If it does, you will then need a 3.5mm jack to whatever the HiFi has, this could be 2 x Phono or the same socket that is used on the phone.0

You can get a Belkin FM transmitter with internal battery, http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_243867_langId_-1_categoryId_254705
plug this into the headphone socket, tune in the radio on the stereo and there you go. Easy, plus it will work in your car as well.0
