    The Old Bailey is a criminal court so wouldn't have processed at divorce ....maybe their was also a criminal case involved but if a divorce went to the High Court -it would have gone to the Strand-I believe. (It may just be that it went to a higher court in London ....and somewhere along the line someone got confused thinking the Old Bailey was the venue simply because it's the best known...family history can get mangled a bit in the telling )

    It may be worth checking out newspaper archives for the Evening Standard and Evening News (London had two evening papers back then) as it may have been reported in one or the other. (The papers merged later so it will be one enquiry for two searches one for each paper)
