How to stop GAYE?

Hey.

I'm currently giving a charity some money per month via the Give As You Earn basis, but my circumstances have changed and unfortunately need to stop giving.

How do i go about cancelling it as it comes direct from my pay and not from my bank?

I'd talk to your payroll dept. I don't think the charity can do anything!

Yes, it is your employer who deducts the money from your pay so you must ask them to stop.

I have worked for several charities on the receiving end, and it is very common for people to stop giving.
