EDF Final Bill
I have just changed electricity provider from EDF.
I have been keeping strict track of my usage and taking regular meter readings, however a few months back EDF issued me with an interim bill that contained an error and was subsequently revised but didn't correct the error and also didn't include a direct debit discount.
They have now issued me with a Final Bill that a) has still not corrected the error and b) again does not include a Direct Debit discount.
They have previously told me that I am only entitled to a DD discount on my normal bills and not interim bills, but surely this is incorrect if the normal bill uses the previous balance from an interim bill?
In the end the difference is only a couple of pound extra credit but it is the principle. I have had nothing but problems with EDF including trying to increase my DD even when I am in credit.
I would appreciate your thoughts on how I can progress this. I have currently disputed the bill but am expecting them to just deny that it is wrong.
