contesting a will

Hoping someone could help answer this question.
My dads brother has recently died and whilst looking for documentation my father found a copy of his will .My uncle had no wife or children and has left everything to his cleaner and her husband,we think around the 100000 mark.His car has disapeared from the drive 10reg.
No questioning his state of mind but is this contestable .My parents always saw him they werent estranged .

I would have a solicitor look at the will to see if the will can be declared invalid through not being compiled correctly. Other than that you would have to show Cohersion which I suspect you cannot do. With regards to his car who are the executors in the will? Have you contacted them to ask where it is? Has probate been granted or applied for? All in all this is a case for you to seek legal advice ASAP

If he was of sound mind, I can't see any reason to contest the will unless you think the beneficiaries used undue influence to make him change his will in their favour and can show evidence of that.

A person (in England and Wales) is allowed to leave their estate to anyone they choose.

If the will was written by a solicitor, you could start with a meeting and see if your uncle set up the appointment himself and was alone when the contents of the will were discussed.
