Simply Electronics - BUYER BEWARE

I ordered a Google Nexus 10 from simplyelectronics.net on 18 August. My credit card was charged the following day. After 2 weeks I contacted them to be told that the shipment had a fault and had been returned to the supplier, this seems to be a common excuse, I cancelled the order after a further 2 weeks of waiting for the new shipment to arrive and requested a refund. I was advised that it may be 2 weeks for the refund to come through, but surprise surprise nothing. Contacted Visa yesterday to see what could be done. They were very helpful and advised that a credit would appear on my next statement. I have got to complete a form with all the details of the order. Visa did say that they had a lot of complaints about this company.

The moral of this story, in the first instance DO NOT BUY FROM SIMPLY ELECTRONICS. If you have ordered and paid with a credit card, contact your credit card who will take the matter up for you. I have also heard that if you paid with Paypal, they are also very good at dealing with the matter.
