the book people often have a set of 10 Julia Donaldson books for a tenner (+ p&p). I got a set and use the individual books as presents for all the little birthday parties the kids get invited to. They have other sets too for similar prices.

My favourite Julia Donaldson book is The Paperdolls, its wonderful. Not on offer but I cant recommend it enough.
