Amazon - Julia Donaldson The Snail & The Whale £1.75

http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Snail-Whale-Julia-Donaldson/dp/033398224X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1380913348&sr=8-1&keywords=Snail+whale

I can't take the credit for finding this offer, but I couldn't see that anyone had mentioned it on MSE, so thought I would share it with you all.
This is another one of my little girls' favourite books, and I think is very good value for £1.75

  • Love this book, and in our house rated one of the best children's picturebook stories ever written.
Can still recite much of it from memory now ... :)

My son loves this book and I love the story too - love that it instills a sense of adventure and sparks the thought that there is a big exciting world out there to discover.

Can I just ask is this a Rhyming book?

I've been buying these books over the last few weeks (damn you MS Forum :p ) and the kids weren't too fussed on the Wizard and Princess one, so I'm being fussy which books I'm buying now  Seems the kiddy winks here at home, and in school (and myself) prefer the rhyming books. It's really working in school ATM as we're introducing rhyming words to the kids and they LOVE them lol.

So yeah I'm being fussy now :o

Yes, it's a rhyming book. Nice themes for kids too - helping each other, recognising differences, exploring the world.

Thanks for tip off but I've had about four for my niece now in the last week! Lovely books and at £1.75 you cannot go wrong.
